Lightweight (800 lbs), durable the Cave truck camper uniquely fits the bill for overland adventures.  Less weight means less demand on your suspension which can make a huge difference on some of the terrain out there.  The simplicity of the spacious Cave design means there is less to jostle around (and eventually break) and you have the freedom to set-up your rig the way you want. The composite construction with 1.5 inch Styrofoam, sealed seams, double pane windows, and thick door gives you insulation far beyond what is found in traditional truck campers.  Lots of us would like some of the monster, luxury vehicles found in the overland market but few of us have the budget.
